Another Condo for sale downtown! 1/1/balcony $197,900

Hey! Are you a young professional in Dallas? Do you feel it's time to really live by moving to downtown? We've posted another sweet condo in our eCrater store that you might want to make your new home!

Of course, nobody is going to buy a $197,900 condo sight-unseen ... but we've tried to put enough information in the listing to intice you to ask some questions ... or schedule a viewing. Maybe you already have your dream home? If so, would you please consider letting an upwardly-mobile professional friend of yours know about this very smart deal?

Like our other condo listing, this one is in "The Metropolitan" smack-dab in the middle of downtown Dallas, Texas. This one is a 1 bedroom / 1 bath, has 757 square feet floor space and even has a private balcony for a relaxing, fresh-air overview of a park-to-be. Scheduled for groundbreaking in November, "Belo Garden" will put a lot of green in the new homeowner's view.

Something that surprised me as I researched living in downtown Dallas ... the local Council of Governments projects that downtown Dallas will see more growth than any other area its size - right through 2030! Their demographic study is very interesting indeed, it shows that the downtown revitalization efforts are expected to continue in full force.

We've made a PDF brochure with a bunch of pictures and a lot of the specifics for you and your friends to look over if you're intested. We also published a brochure for the other listing, too.

You're welcome to post a comment on these blog entries if you like, or use the email links in the PDF brochures, to ask us any questions. We're just a couple of straight-shootin' simple folks helping a friend out, so don't expect our reply to be typical "salesperson" baloney, ok?

Hope to hear from you soon!

Condo for Sale! Upscale, downtown Dallas: only $174,900

A new chapter in the Big Tex story has opened - we just listed our first piece of real estate in our eCRATER store! Another will be listed as soon as I finish writing it up.

These are luxury condos in a high-rise smack dab in the middle of downtown Dallas. The building is called "The Metropolitan" and it's at 1200 Main Street ... and wow! does it have the amentities!

Condo owners in The Metropolitan have a rooftop pool, sundeck, picnic or party area for outdoor entertaining. They also get to use a surround sound movie screening room, a common kitchen area and a lounge. Professionals can even work in the business center or use the conference room with high-backed leather chairs all around. Of course, there's the expected fitness room too. But here's something most condominium complexes don't have ... over 12,000 square feet of retail space right inside the same building!!

The owners of these two condos weren't sure what they were going to do with them when they bought them ... neither planned on actually living there (they are much further up the ladder already, if you know what I mean!).

So, if you know anyone who is looking for really convenient, comfortable upscale living deep in the heart of Dallas, won't you please refer them to our store? If you would like to know more, you can just download and look over our little brochure by clicking ... there's no obligation, of course!

Thanks for reading our post!!

We're going to the eCRATER marketplace!

There's a new player in online marketplaces! OK, so they're 4 years old now ... but eCRATER is setting its sights on the top-tier of online markets. As of now, the beginning of September 2007, their rating exceeds virtually every other market site on the Wild Whacky Web. Only the bigguns are above - like Amazon, Overstock and eBay.

This new market has ties with Google, by far the most used search engine, and (get this!) is totally free to setup and operate a store in! Your store, my store, any store costs absolutely zero to be created in and hosted at eCRATER. My store is called Big Tex Surplus. Please remember, though, this is my live store. Don't click any "Buy Now" buttons unless you really want to buy 'cause I'll hold you to the purchase committment! We still have a store on eBay, and will for quite a while ... its name is Big Tex Surplus, too. If you go there, you can see how well we've treated customers along the way (hint: we have 100% positive feedback!)

The old man of the web, eBay, seems to be suffering senile dementia. They have made selling arduous and dreadfully expensive. They nickel-and-dime your every sale, while sacrificing your premium store's exposure to try to save their stinking pile called eBay eXpress. Hey, did you know the CEO of eBay, Meg Whitman, just dumped a chunk of her stock? $44 million worth just recently; you can read a short article about this on Seeking Alpha. You have to wonder why, if eBay is truly sustainable, knew where they were headed and actually has a bright future, why in the world would she would be cashing in now.

While eCRATER is the new kid on the block, their growth seems to indicate their doing someting right ... the number of products listed has grown from 500,000 to 750,000 in only the last 3 months (numbers approximate and drawn from eCRATER forum postings of statistics hounds thereon).

There's much more to all this, caveats and details and such, but I get a good feeling from this upstart. Unlike eBay, they're not too big for their britches. They know shoppers start at search engines, specifically Google mostly, and that selling one item shouldn't be subject to a dozen half-hidden fees that run small sellers into the red each month. I recommend that, if you want to abandon your feeBay ways, then create and load up a storefront at eCRATER!

P.S. If you have an eCRATER store, please let us know! Let's see if we're compatible - maybe we can manage a mutual promotion of both of our stores, ok?
